L’Arsenal’s mission is to introduce concert music to a broad audience, and especially to young people, through bold and innovative interventions and concerts, as well as through the development of strategies for introducing the arts to school groups.

My intention is to spark a long overdue conversation; because we need to talk with one another, illuminate our similarities, and celebrate our differences. Using harrowing, incredible, and often hilarious stories from my own life, I address the psycho-emotional effects on me as a black man growing up and living in America.

Tony McManus is recognized around the world as the leading guitarist in Celtic Music. More recently, he’s expanded his repertoire to include Classical works, and traditional roots music from other parts of the globe. Today his live work ranges from intimate solo performances to various duos and collaborations with some of traditional music’s most celebrated names. In addition to his intense tour schedule and solo recordings, he in great demand as a studio musician having contributed to over 60 albums. Whether on a stage, recording in the studio or behind a mixing desk, Tony brings a deep respect for traditional music to bear on all he does. His ability to connect with audiences is remarkable and inspiring.
