Whether singing an intimate ballad, performing an intricate fugue, creating stirring world beats, or wailing on a powerful rock anthem, award-winning singer/multi-instrumentalist Kevin Ramessar has a history of moving audiences.
A featured soloist with several Canadian orchestras, Kevin has taken his music to major concert halls and festival stages throughout Canada, Europe and the U.S. Kevin’s performances have earned him accolades from the likes of Pat Metheny and Ron Sexsmith, and have led to live collaborations with Jim Cuddy, Christian McBride, and Kellylee Evans. Highlights include playing lead guitar for the Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway, performing on The View, Juno Awards Songwriters’ Circle, Good Morning Canada, Canada AM, and opening performances for Maceo Parker, Tony Bennett, and Chris Botti.
Kevin is a two-time winner of First Place for guitar at the Canadian Music Competitions and the 2008 KW Arts Award winner for Music, and is often featured on CBC Radio and WNED. Dividing his time between Kitchener-Waterloo and New York City, Kevin continues to create and share an infectious brand of music that evokes praise from critics and audiences alike.
