MOTUS O dance theatre

MOTUS O dance theatre’s vision is to create works for all individuals of society to experience the transformational powers of the performing arts, thereby causing them to examine, reflect and understand their uniqueness, the distinctiveness of others and the diversity of communities in which they live. "Prisoner of Tehran" is one of those works. A unique collaboration between Marina Nemat and MOTUS O, this new performance piece is a synthesis of theatre, video and story telling that swims in a landscape of movement touching on the themes of Oppression and Freedom. The show is a multi-disciplinary performance with Marina speaking her memoirs from her bestselling book, “Prisoner of Tehran”.
