Conference Overview:
Contact ONtour, produced by Ontario Presents, is an opportunity for artists, agents, managers and presenters to gather, share performing arts issues, network, and share the joys and challenges of the touring performing arts sector. A three-day event, Contact ONtour will feature showcases and pitches by artists ready to tour to Ontario communities.  The 2022 conference will be a return to an in-person gathering.
Professional development activities will be virtual and will run in the weeks leading up to the conference. There will be additional professional development workshops geared specifically to artists.
We encourage performing artists of all disciplines to apply.  Ontario Presents is committed to ensuring equity, inclusivity, and representation in our sector. We especially encourage applications from artists who identify as Indigenous, Black, or People of Colour, artists with disabilities, Deaf artists, as well as artists from the LGBTQ2S+ community, to apply, and will be placing emphasis on representation from these communities in our selection process.
If you are an artist wishing to expand your audience, Contact ONtour is for you.

Conference Profile
An exciting, engaging celebration, Contact ONtour is an opportunity for those working in the touring performing arts sector to come together to network, and to share information in a three-day conference featuring performances from a wide range of genres.
Every year the conference engages over 200 artists, presenters, agents, managers, and industry stakeholders in showcase performances, workshops, and an arts industry marketplace. It is our goal that Contact ONtour will continue to address the ongoing needs of Ontario’s performing arts ecology, allowing artists to tour to communities across the province. Ontario Presents is pleased to be producing this conference and artist showcase platform, with assistance from the Ontario Arts Council, the Department of Canadian Heritage, and the generous support of our many sponsors.
