ANDY G and FRIENDS - Children’s / Family Music
Canadian Folk-Roots Artist, Andy Griffiths, has recently released his upbeat children’s album entitled ‘OUR CAT FLASH’. Featuring mostly songs Andy has written and a couple of classic children’s song favourites. This album was realised with the help of some very good friends. In fact … some of Canada’s finest musicians! Including Juno award winning, Stephen Fearing, who played some guitar on the album.
‘OUR CAT FLASH’ is generally aimed at children 2 to 8 … but is enjoyable for kids of all ages! Children, their friends, families … and grandparents too!
The fun Andy G and Friends have with their audience when performing a live show, is reflected in this lively studio album … ‘OUR CAT FLASH’ . To accompany the album, there is now a beautiful children’s picture book available based on the song
‘ Our Cat Flash ‘. Award winning artist, Helen Griffiths, illustrate the children’s book and the album cover.
As well as entertaining at some wonderful festivals, theatres and schools … Andy was thrilled to open a show for children’s entertainment icon, Fred Penner, at the Gravenhurst Opera House. Playing solo to a FULL house on Nov 10, 2018. Fred is a Canadian gem!
Andy plays most shows with his good friend Jay Burr. ‘Tuba’ Jay plays … tuba, guitar & percussion and sings backing vocals. Not all at the same time of course! When the show allows, Andrew Aldridge would join in on lead guitar and special guest, Lorretta Bailey joins in on backing vocals and percussion.
Andy would be happy to discuss possible workshops for school, and/or pre show, appearances.

MATT GERBER (Children’s/family music)
Like Vitamin Joy, from outer space, Toronto’s Matt Gerber provides a dose of up-beat/kid-friendly music to charm and delight listeners. With a knack for crafting quirky, yet heartwarming songs, he is known for his ability to capture an audience’s attention with his combination of ukulele, kazoo and clever lyrics. Matt is an award winning songwriter (2019 Folk Music Ontario, Songs From The Heart, Children’s: “Buzz Off Mosquito”). Matt was recently seen entertaining audiences with a sweet set at the Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival in Midland, and was one of the select acts performing for crowds during this year’s Canada Day Celebration in Clarington, Ontario.

Abby Zotz (Folk)
Abby Zotz is an artist who refuses to give up hope. Her songwriting and warm, pure vocals coax out small fragments of life, from the struggles of an immigrant family to chasing after peace to understanding the brain of a bully. Abby cut her teeth on the Ontario music scene as one-half of the folk-pop duo Two Roads Home. A deeply comfortable and experienced live performer, she is at turns enchanting, funny and touching, deftly moving through a range of musical styles from folk to pop, country, gospel and a touch of blues. Her debut solo release Local Honey garnered her the 2018 L.A. Music Critics’ Award for Best International Artist.
