Bergmann Duo

The Bergmann Piano Duo described as artists who present “razzle-dazzle” and “electrifyingly rendered” recitals have touched and inspired audiences with their uniquely eclectic programmes for more than two decades. Their recitals and concerts with orchestra have taken them to many parts of the world performing in a variety of venues from traditional concert halls to bell towers to open air performances on the beach. The duo is passionate about bringing the art of duo pianism to a variety of audiences, traveling with 2 sponsored pianos. Recognized as “piano duo extraordinaire having keyboard skills of the first order with impeccable musicianship” they have appeared at festivals and have recorded for various radio stations and numerous labels.

DDD uniquely fuses classical showpieces with folk, jazz, traditional, pop and world music. Internationally renowned performers Wolak clarinet/piano and Bridge accordions/piano build concerts around musical showstoppers for presenters world wide. Award winning Bridge has performed on three continents, featured by the Boston Pops in 2009, and won the prestigious Calgary Stampede Talent Search in 2013. Highly acclaimed for his musical imagination and astonishing versatility, Dr. Wolak’s solo music has been praised by many critics, John Terauds of the Toronto Star states “control, and a smooth, elegant expressivity” are what make Wolak shine. L’Arsenal a musique

L’Arsenal’s mission is to introduce concert music to a broad audience, and especially to young people, through bold and innovative interventions and concerts, as well as through the development of strategies for introducing the arts to school groups.

Since 1978, L’Arsenal has created over 25 original productions and has presented more than 15,000 performances to more than 3 million viewers in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.

Its productions combine music, circus, theatre, multi media, and special effects in an innovative and ground-breaking manner.
